Hi Ladies!

This Thursday we will be discussing activities to do in the cooler months with our children, so bring ideas to share:) Sometimes these discussions end early, so bring a project from home if you want!

Thank you Cynthia for a fabulous craft last week!  We appreciate all your time and effort in preparing a project for us.  Great job leading our Fire Drill last week Danielle; we appreciate your leadership! The Earthquake Drill and Tornado information by Beth and Shannon was a great reminder!  There is nothing like 33 women dropping underneath a table for a good reminder and a few laughs!

We have a couple of Birthdays this month....Molly's is on the 16th, Emma's is on the 26th, and Kassia and Natialie's is on the 27th!  Happy Birthday Ladies!!!

Jana will be bringing her jewelry this week, be on the look out for some fabulous jewels!

Laura Menocal is due on the 27th.   The meal schedule completed by Jana is listed below...

A meal schedule has been created using TakeThemAMeal.com, and you've been invited to participate!
Meals are needed for: Laura Menocal
If you would like to sign up, you can access the meal schedule by clicking here, or by visitingTakeThemAMeal.com and locating the schedule by recipient last name (Menocal) and password (Menocal).

Program on "Bringing Home Baby" on 10-11-12

Hi Ladies!

Tomorrow's program will be ViviAnne Fischer speaking on "Bringing Home Baby."   Thank you Angela and Rachel for coordinating tomorrow's program.

I've asked all the teachers, except the baby's classroom teachers, to do some kind of art for the Original Works Kids Artwork Fundraiser project during PS this week.  You can get your child's artwork printed onto t-shirts, mugs, magnets, aprons, and the like while supporting PS at the same time. Next Thursday, October 18th, the art projects are due to be turned in. I have all the packets and information to hand out tomorrow. You can read the email below to get a better description of what this fundraiser is all about.

A couple of Fall Events:

-Christina Kaufman's family farm in Lewiston has a corn maze. Ask her for more details...waldoncl@gmail.com

-Storytime at The Four Square Church on Grand Street in Pullman at 9:30am on Wednesday

-Palouse Science Center pre-school program is on Fridays at 10:30am

Your one and only Rachel Childs will be there with Scentsy candles and I will be there with some shabby chic/industrial/vintage home decor  items as well as other vendors.

This email below is from Alex, the PSILY Coordinator regarding Original Kids Artwork Fundraiser...

This fall we are running the Original Works Kids Artwork fundraiser again to support PS I Love You!
You can get your child's artwork printed onto t-shirts, mugs, magnets, aprons and the like while supporting PS at the same time.

The Original Works program is a great way to:
    - Celebrate your child's creativity
    - Order gifts for holidays, birthdays, or any special occasion
    - Create treasured keepsakes that last a lifetime.

How it works:
This week at PS, information packets will be available with the brochure, order forms and special paper (cardstock) for you to take home.
Have your children do some terrific artwork on the paper  (crayons, markers, paint, paper collage etc).  Choose the type of item or items you want the artwork printed on.
Fill out the order form and make out a check to PS I Love You.  And bring the whole package back to me the following week to send in.
We have a pretty short window for getting artwork done (1 week)  - but we are guaranteed to get the products delivered back to us by the end of November.
So this is a great option for one-of-a-kind holiday gifts!
I've attached a flyer, a price list and some other information on the program.
Any questions?  Just ask!

See you all tomorrow,
Stacey
